Tuvalu is the world’s fourth smallest country. It is at risk of disappearing by the end of the century. If as predictions suggest and the world’s oceans continue to rise, Tuvalu will become uninhabitable due to climate impact. This story is told through the voices of Tuvaluans who are worried about their future homeland and how even today the threat from an ever-changing climate can’t be avoided even in death. It’s important to note this story was shot and produced primarily by a group of Tuvalu youth who had only been introduced to video storytelling during a two week education program offered to interested participants. Prior to this, none of them had ever held a video camera before.
