Created by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper, 888,246 ceramic poppies progressively filled the Tower’s famous moat between July to November 2014. - See more at: http://www.hrp.org.uk/TowerOfLondon/poppies#sthash.feqrGQ4G.dpuf AerialVue where very privalaged to be asked to film the installation with our Aeronavics XMX3 aircraft. It was a very tense time flying over all the poppies, everyone of them had been sold. One of the iconic scenes was the changing of the guard. we literally had less than 2 minutes to perp the aircraft, get into position and film the changing. One take, of an event that would never be repeated. Massive thanks to HRP and the brilliant Paul Carr, a gimbal operator that can mind read. Hope you enjoy the short film.
