During this strange time in the world, I have become very passionate about cooking and baking plant based foods. While having a lot of time on my hands at home, I decided to combine my love for film & art with my love for food. Inspired by the striking golden hour light in my living room, I decided I wanted to create a warm, vintage baking film. What a venture this was! I picked one of my favorite cookie recipes and filmed myself every day for a week at sunset. Fun fact: I baked a total of about 115 cookies. This project was challenging and rewarding as it really pushed my creativity into new territory. It was also a really fun exploration into self expression with food, myself and my camera. I hope it puts a smile on your face and brings you warmth.
The music track was a treasure find that I purchased on AudioJungle, and if you don't already recognize the tune, it's a lofi/hiphop version of "Claire De Lune" by Claude Debussy. I added vinyl FX to give it a vintage feel.
Produced, shot & edited by myself.
