Sweeter on the Vine, the Texas produced music video written and directed by local actress, wife and mother of two, Anna Terry, was featured at Tex Fest by the USA Film Festival in November--there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It features the songwriter's family who are all Dallas-based actors, as well.
The video was shot mostly in Anna's very own back yard and the whole town came together giving her access to their horses, land, and 1940’s Vintage House.
Since last summer of 2017, the eldest son, also playing the role of Anna’s son in the video, has just booked a lead role on a new show that films in Austin, Texas where he is also attending the University of Texas.
The video also features Emma Fuhrmann who is an up and coming young actress who starred with Morgan Freeman in The Magic of Belle Isle and Blended with Adam Sandler..
The song, which has a thread of sacrifice throughout, is about the sacrifice of a mother and father raising children, the sacrifice many young men and women make along with their families to serve their country, and the symbolism of Jesus' death with the bread and wine allusions in the chorus to His ultimate sacrifice on the cross.
