After a boy's parents were both killed in a car accident, he is left with his alcoholic aunt, while still grieving about his parent's death. Child services are aware of the environment he is now staying in and has plans to get him out of there. The short film starts here; we see him a week after they have passed away and how he plans to cope with their deaths. While grieving a man that works for child services comes and picks him up and is taking him to meet his new faces. The very last shot of the film shows a smile come over the boys face because of hope.
