"59.9" is the ninth film of the "59" experimental film anthology series, for which director Leslie Foster created eleven 59-second films in eleven months with eleven different collaborators, none of whom were cis men. "59.9" was created in collaboration with poet Jade Phoenix. It is a mediation on trans identity, Filipinx identity, and resisting systemic oppression.
