Eleanor is a documentary filmmaker from Suffolk living in London.
Her film, Territory (2015), won the Oscar-qualifying best short documentary award at Hot Docs, received a Grierson nomination, and traveled to over fifty festivals including Sundance. Other documentaries include Seafarers (2017), commissioned for online strand Postcards, Learning to Fly (2016, premiere: Sheffield Doc Fest) and The Price of Freedom (winner, best webcast documentary IAWRT awards 2013).
Eleanor is currently in production with Mobile, a series of shorts following refugees as they settle in Europe, while developing Little Eagle for C4’s Random Acts, and Birthday about three generations of women turning 30, 60, & 90.
Eleanor is one third of London documentary company, Glow in the Dark Films.
